The Fried Guy!

This place must be designated as a national treasure. I'm writing this review as I'm digging their food in my vehicle. I LOVE burgers, have been to countless burger places, and this is easily one of the best, if not the best. Don't be fooled by the exterior (a contrainer box). I know I was, but I was even more surprised by the quality of the food. JUICY burger with great ingredients, not too saucy or sour, just right for my taste. Fresh cut fries, I asked no salt, and he said "No problem! I can make anything you want." The owner, Mark, seems like a really nice guy as well. I mean, he holds the tissue box for his customers to pull off from it. I live in Cambridge, but I will head down just to have his burgers and fries. It is that good. Guys, you must check it out. My hear is full, just as my stomach. Edit: Well, I'm not heading home yet. I just asked Mark for any recommendation, and he said he can make anything, and now I'm waiting for my mushroom with Swiss cheese. Mmmmm. I may not head home today. Oh, he got the ice cream place next to The Fried Guy as well. I guess I'm stacked.

Spectacular food and an even more spectacular owner. Great selection of poutines and sandwiches - had the cheeseballs and pickle poutine, absolutely fantastic, fresh and delicious. 10/10, will absolutely be coming back here, thanks Mark!

Well I finally made it here today at let me tell you this place is a must stop if you are out grabbing gas or smokes or out enjoying the start of beautiful fall wheather.my friend Lee told me I had to try the steak and mushroom putine and it was hands down the best I ever had juicy flavourful with a two cheese blend it melted in your mouth.the owner was really friendly and I can't wait to get back and try the Ruben sandwich that is said to be a best seller.also had a order of large battered mushrooms that were top notch as well.the menu has a large selection of onion rings burgers and milkshakes as well.so come out and support a local small business you won't be disappointed.

What a disappointment from the last time here. Fries were cooked in old/dirty oil and were more chewy than crispy. The burger had COMPLETLY burned bacon on the bottom and undercooked gristle on top. Patty tasted good but fell apart. Couldn’t finish either item.

We grabbed a hot dog, poutine and deep fried pickles and it was so yummy! Hit the spot Mark provided great service and was very friendly, we enjoyed chatting with him after we ate and hearing about some of his travels. We didn’t notice at first, but there are tons of picnic benches behind the shop where we were able to sit and enjoy our meal. It’s a great stop for a Saturday afternoon if you’re exploring the area and need a bite!

If you're looking for fresh & tasting food you should absolutely try it!! We had Burger and buffalo chicken poutine, both were DELICIOUS!! The meat was sooo fresh and the owner, Mark, who was supeeerrr friendly and polite explained that the meat is local and fresh and you could absolutely tell the difference even with most expensive restaurants!! He also offered us icecream from his other stand, OMG! It tasted like HEAVEN!! You could taste the fresh milk and it was not too sweet just PERFECT!! He also use the fresh local milk from the farm market across the road for his icecream. I will be definitely my go to for burgers and icecream! Thank you Mark!

This little roadside joint is in the same parking lot as the Esso gas station. We were down the street at the Little Brown Cow, I found this gem while searching for food in the area. There’s ample seating in the back with picnic tables for you to enjoy your meal. So stinkin’ cute! There’s a good selection of food on the menu and man, everything we ordered was delicious!!! The burgers are smashed with two patties of the freshest butcher meat and topped with your choice of toppings and condiments. We also ordered the fries and gravy and the gravy was some of the best I’ve ever had!! Holy deliciousness. You can taste the quality here! I also grabbed a Reuben sandwich to go for my man as it looked too good. Service is so welcoming and friendly. The owner - Mark, even offered us some complimentary ice cream that the kids absolutely loved. If you’re in the area, definitely stop by! Prices are super reasonable for the quality. An absolute gem of a find.

So today the hubby and I were craving for poutine, and we had heard really good things about this place. Well we weren’t disappointed we ordered the buffalo and the steak and mushroom poutine and a Cesar salad, and it was amazing!! Let me tell you that this place supper local Brantford’s. Everithing was fresh made. Be patient because good things take time to make. You will see that there is no gravy in the pics, sorry about that I ordered on the side ( driving far). Make your self a favor and try this place!
